  • Anti-inflammatoire par inhibition de la cyclooxygenase-2 [1], par inhibition de la synthèse de leucotriènes et effets antioxydants (mais pas la matricine) [2]
  • Inhibe la formation de leucotriène B4, bloque la peroxydation de l'acide arachidonique
  • Anti-oxydant [3]
  • Hépatoprotecteur (contre les lésions hépatiques induites par l'éthanol) en atténuant le stress oxydatif et en prévenant l'inflammation [4]
  • Antibactérien modéré
  • Anti-allergique puissant
