  • Inhibiteur de l’anhydrase carbonique [2] (contribue à un effet diurétique, utilisable dans le glaucome, le mal des montagnes)
  • Propriétés antidiabétiques, antihyperlipidémiques, antioxydantes chez les rats diabétiques (diabète expérimental induit par la streptozotocine) [3]
  • Antihypertenseur [4]
  • Antiviral sur Epstein-Barr virus par action sur la DNA polymérase du virus [5]
  • Préventif de l'infection à SARS-Cov-2, les études de docking moléculaire montrent une forte affinité pour la protéine spike et le récepteur ACE-2 [6], inhibiteur potentiel de nombreux variants [7]
