Propriétés

  • Antibactérien [4], [5]
  • Propriétés anti-athérosclérotiques par inhibition de l’oxydation des lipoprotéines LDL [6], la gossypétine (comme la myricétine), peut modifier les lipoprotéines de basse densité (LDL) pour augmenter leur absorption par les macrophages [7]
  • Protège des dommages de l’ADN induits par les radiations gamma du fait de propriétés antioxydantes [8]
