Description et habitat

  • Plante pérenne originaire du sud-est asiatique, importée d'Indonésie, cultivée sous climat chaud et humide
  • Tige quadrangulaire, feuilles opposées, irrégulièrement dentées, longuement pétiolées
  • Fleurs, blanches ou lilas, disposées en verticilles au sommet de la tige, avec étamines exsertes deux fois plus longues que le tube de la corolle (d'où son nom vernaculaire de " moustache de chat ", kumis-kuting)
