Description et habitat
- Arbuste ou arbrisseau aux rameaux glabres et fragiles, haies, bois frais, coteaux pierreux, Europe, Afrique septentrionale, Amérique du Nord
- Feuilles longues de 6 à 10 cm à 3 ou 5 lobes, pubescentes sur la face inférieure, le pétiole porte de 2 à 4 glandes nectarifères, fleurs blanches inodores, fruit est une baie globuleuse rouge écarlate luisant à maturité, de 10 à 12 mm
