Description et habitat

  • Plante herbacée lianoïde originaire des régions tropicales de l’Inde, du Myanmar et du Sri Lanka, arbuste grimpant à feuilles glabres cordiformes des forêts de feuillus et des forêts sèches. Écorce blanchâtre ou grisâtre, avec des fissures profondes, racines aériennes, poussant sur les manguiers ou les neem. Fleurs jaunes en grappes. Les fruits sont des drupes, virant au rouge quand elles sont mûres
